His Eminence Mógàjí Òkítí, Olúwo Adésínà Ọlátúnjí-Arẹ̀sà

Mógàjí in Ìbàdànland is the Family Head or the Head of a         Lineage in Ìbàdànland.  Mógàjí is the highest authority or the     most influential member of the family, which is also recognized   by the Olúbàdàn- the traditional ruler of Ìbàdànland. Mógàjí is a chieftaincy title.  A Mógàjí plays a significant role in the social, political, and  cultural life of Ìbàdàn.  Mógàjí in Ìbàdàn have the choice to join the ladder of the political structure of Ìbàdàn. By joining the broader community like ascending the ladder to the throne of Olúbàdàn, and it comes many diverse responsibilities. These responsibilities include dispute resolutions between or among individuals within the family or the Lineage. The dispute resolutions can also be at family level (between two or more family members), or even between larger collective communities. Mógàjí Òkítí has several communities under him which includes Odi Òkítí, which is a very big community and Ọgẹdẹ Gbọọrọ, as a Mógàjí the rulers of these towns report directly to him.  These towns fall within Oluyole local government of Ìbàdànland.
